Your privacy

What ANUPT keeps about you, why, who helps us run it, and how to delete it.

Last updated 10 October 2026

The short version

  • We keep only what your readings need.
  • We never sell your details, and there are no ads.
  • AI services write your readings. They never get your email address.
  • You can delete your account and everything in it from your Profile, any time.

What we keep

  • Your name and email address, from the sign-up form or from Google. If you use “Continue with Google”, we also keep the account number Google gives us, so we know it's you next time. We never see your Google password. We don't ask for your mobile number.
  • Your birth details: date, time and place of birth, and the name you use for numerology. Your kundli and numbers are worked out from these.
  • Palm photos, if you add them, so we can read your palm and mark the lines on your photo.
  • Your readings, questions and chats, so they're still there when you come back.
  • Morning-reading settings, if you turn them on: the email address or Telegram chat we send them to.
  • Whether you ticked the box to hear from us, and when.
  • Sign-in records: when you signed in or out, and the internet (IP) address used. These help us stop code guessing, spam and abuse.

Why we keep it

  • To create your account and sign you in.
  • To work out your charts and numbers, and write your readings.
  • To email your sign-in codes and, if you asked for them, your morning readings.
  • To keep ANUPT safe from bots, spam and abuse.
  • To write to you about your readings and updates, but only if you ticked the box.

Who helps us run ANUPT

These services handle some of your details for us, only to run ANUPT.

Cloudflare
Runs this website and the sign-in, and checks for bots. Sees your IP address and the pages you open.
Neon
Our database. Stores everything listed under “What we keep”.
Streamlit Community Cloud
Runs the ANUPT app. Handles what you see and enter in the app.
Google
Signs you in if you choose “Continue with Google”. Gmail sends our emails, so it gets the address we write to.
Google Gemini, Groq, Cerebras, OpenRouter
AI services that write readings and read palm photos. They get only what that reading needs, such as your birth chart, the name for your numbers, your question or your palm photo. Never your email address or Google account.
Open-Meteo and OpenStreetMap
Find your place of birth on the map and its time zone. They get the city name you type.
Telegram
Only if you choose Telegram for morning readings.

On their free plans, some AI services may keep what we send and use it to improve their own products. So please don't type phone numbers, home addresses or passwords into your questions.

Some of these services store data on servers outside India.

What we don't do

  • We don't sell or rent your details to anyone.
  • We don't show ads, and we don't use advertising or tracking cookies.
  • We don't pass your details to other astrologers or businesses.

Cookies

This website sets one cookie, anupt_sid, to keep you signed in for up to 60 days. Signing out removes it. Cloudflare may add a short-lived security cookie to tell people from bots.

If you choose “Continue with Google”, Google's own privacy policy covers what happens on Google's side.

How long we keep it

  • Your account, birth details, photos and readings: until you delete them, or your account.
  • Sign-in codes stop working after 10 minutes. Their records are cleared after about 7 days.
  • Sign-in records are cleared after about 180 days.
  • After you delete something, it can stay in our database's short-term backups for a few days before it's gone for good.

Your choices

  • See or correct your details. Open Profile in the app to change your birth details. For a copy of everything we hold about you, email us.
  • Delete everything. In Profile, open “Delete my account and all data”. This removes your account, birth details, palm photos, saved readings and morning-reading settings at once.
  • Stop morning readings. Turn them off in Profile.
  • Stop hearing about updates. Email us and we'll take you off the list.

If you're unhappy with how we've handled your details, write to us first. If our answer doesn't settle it, you can complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

Keeping it safe

  • There are no ANUPT passwords to steal. You sign in with Google or a one-time code.
  • We store codes only in scrambled form. Each one stops working after 10 minutes or 5 wrong tries.
  • Your sign-in cookie can't be read by other scripts on the page, and only travels over secure connections.
  • Everything between you and ANUPT is encrypted (HTTPS).
  • We limit how often codes can be requested, to stop spam and bots.

Age

ANUPT is for people aged 18 and over.
